Neobalanocarpus heimii or more commonly known as Chengal  or Cengai  is a heavy hardwood species found  in the forest of  Asean Countries. Because of its hard, durable, fine & even texture, low shrinkage & termite resistant properties  Chengal was the choice for all of NBS wooden products.  At NBS factory wood are sawn to size, sand &  shaped by skilled craftmen.

A well designed  fish pond  added  as part of the landscape  brings out  an interesting feature that will add color and  ambience  to your garden. Among the popular type of fish pond construction carried out by NBS include Natural Riverstone Koi Ponds &  Koi Ponds c/w Water Feature.

Some of the favorite areas where the pond can be located are beside a gazebo, side garden or under a wooden pergola. Where space permits, an island pond can be constructed with a wooden bridge linking to it.

NBS garden landscape  design is based on Tropical Garden Concept. Based on  customer requirements, the final design may vary from a simple garden with steeping stones walk way surrounded by grass turfing. palm trees  & tropical plants & flowers. A more elaborate design will incorporate the construction of hardscape such as water-features, koi pond, wooden pergola or gazebos.
